When You’re Gone (Lucero)
I’ve always liked Lucero for their blend of indie/americana rock. It’s a shame I don’t like Jack Daniels more than I do, ha! The challenge in this riff is to play the exact notes you need and not the ones you don’t. This is much more difficult than strumming in some respects because when notes are played individually they stand alone and there is nothing to cover up a mistake! Keep the right hand disciplined and the left hand deliberate.
