Walker Guitar was created by Coire Walker and developed with Miguel Perez and Eric Lakich on the streets of Los Angeles and New York (well, on the computers that sit in the buildings on those streets!)  I created this site with the philosophy that music education should be free and accessible to everyone around the world regardless of race, gender social class, education etc…in the words of Tyler Durden: “we’re all part of the same compost heap!”  I’ve worked hard to make sure the content on WG is as clear and comprehensive as possible, that the barriers and obstacles of learning at home are minimal.  The long-term goal of all of this is to build a pool of users that come together for the common cause of learning guitar and having fun.  I have big plans down the road for this community, because like all things that change the world it comes down to uniting people for a common cause, and what could be better than this?
